As this challenging year comes to an end, we in the Holos Earth Project are excited to review the new frontiers of scientific exploration with David Lorimer of the Scientific and Medical Network (SMN).

Join us on Thursday 30th December at 18h00 BST for a free 90-minute interactive webinar where we will explore some provocative questions as David Lorimer reviews the topics investigated by the SMN over the past year. Under the broad heading “One Mind, One Planet, One Health,” as David puts it, the SMN is dedicated to co-creating a transformative worldview for the 21st century. This accords deeply with the intention of the Holos Earth Project.

David says, “The year has been pervaded by a sense of deepening crisis as power elites such as the WEF try to ramp up levels of fear and censorship with a view to total digital control. A fundamental issue here is the nature of the human being: are we just complex biological machines to be programmed and upgraded or is there a transcendent spiritual core in the human being that invites gnosis and the realisation of our oneness with Mind and Life? And are we part of Nature or apart from Nature?”

With our focus of evolving the potential contribution of the Holos Earth Project, we are deeply interested in the claim of the SMN: “The SMN upholds transcendence over trans-humanism, life over death, integration over fragmentation.”

For further reference see the work of the Galileo Commission. This project of the SMN holds the principle aims of challenging the adequacy of the philosophy of scientific materialism (scientism) as an exclusive basis for knowledge and values. As such, it accords with the intention of the Holos Earth Project to re-inquire into a new dialogue between science and philosophy. See here for our four focuses including “scientific and philosophical”.

We also recommend this profound video interview which has enjoyed over 50,000 views: Experiencing the Divine. A film with Anthony Chene.
